In order to deepen the party building work of the college, closely combine the theoretical study of party building with social practice, and promote the organic integration and effective enhancement of the "big ideological and political courses" both on and off campus, the Party Branch of Organisation and United Front Work and the Party Committee of School of Economics and Management jointly carried out the theme party building education and training activity "Inherit the red gene and stimulate the power of advancement" with a group of 37 people from the Party Branch of School of Economics and Management from Nov. 16th to 17th.Stimulate the power of progress" theme party building education and training activities.The activity was led by He Yu, Director of the Organisation Department, and Xie Chaoyang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics and Management.In the course of the activity, we also carried out a party building activity with Jiaxing University Business School, "gathering on the bank of the Red Boat, retracing one of the major roads and setting sail for a new journey".

In July 1921, the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was successfully held at No. 106 Wangzhi Road in the French Concession in Shanghai and at Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, marking the official birth of the CPC.This time, tracing the footsteps of the early Communist Party forefathers, the participants came to the site of the Red Boat in South Lake, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, to deeply remember the heady days and explore the spiritual codes of the Communists' unremitting struggle.

Beside the red boat, the participants admired the historical boat carrying the initial heart and mission of the Communist Party of China, strolled in the old red sites such as the Smoke and Rain Building, and deeply felt that the party forefathers were modest and prudent, not arrogant and not impatient with the excellent style and the sense of the big picture of defying difficulties and fearless sacrifices.

In the South Lake Revolutionary Memorial Hall, the atmosphere is solemn.The Memorial Hall, with the theme of the Red Boat Sailing of the Chinese Revolution, the main line of the Party's original heart and mission, the development of the Party, focusing on the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the South Lake Conference, comprehensively explains the relationship between a big party and a small boat, and shows the glorious history of the CPC in the past 100 years, leading the people of the country to achieve a great victory in revolution, construction and reform.Jiang Yunfei, Deputy Secretary of the Second Party Branch of Accounting Graduate Students, led the students to recite the oath of joining the CPC together as a leader, and the oath echoed in front of the Memorial Hall for a long time, which inspired every member of the party not to forget the original intention of joining the CPC and bear in mind the mission of the times.

In order to "retrace the path of the First Congress", the participants went to the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Shanghai to visit and study, to deeply explore the history of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), to take the establishment of the Communist Party of China (CPC) as a starting point for this epoch-making historical event, and to experience the revolutionary spirit of the revolutionary ancestors of hard struggle and indomitable revolutionary spirit.By reviewing the ups and downs and brilliance of the CPC's century-long journey, the participants deeply understood that in the context of the new era, continuously strengthening the ideological and theoretical construction of party members with the spirit of innovation is of vital importance to promoting the development of the country, realising the rejuvenation of the nation, and enhancing the well-being of the people.Everyone expressed that they would better play the role of pioneering and exemplary party members, strengthen their personal ideals and beliefs, and join hands to cope with various opportunities and challenges in the new situation.

"A small boat gives birth to a big party", the School of Economics and Management will take this party building education and training activities as an opportunity to promote the construction of party members in the school in depth, and always maintain the party's advancement and purity by strengthening the construction of grass-roots party organisations and the construction of the backbone force of students.In the following work, the School of Economics and Management will continue to organise rich and colourful red educational activities, guide the new era party members to learn, be educated, grow their talents and make contributions in the "Great Ideological and Political Class" of the society, and contribute to the power of Economics and Management for the realisation of great rejuvenation of the Chinese Dream.
