The accounting department offers a variety of academic degree programs including Bachelor of Accounting, Master of Accounting and Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc). Meanwhile, the department is establishing long-term cooperative relations with the universities in the United States, U.K., and other countries. Currently, we have“3+2” dual degree programs, “2+2” dual degree programs, and short-term exchange programs with East Tennessee State University (ETSU), Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), and other prestigious universities abroad.

The department of accounting has an excellent teaching team. Faculty members are comprised of 25 full-time faculty members, including 2 professors, 14 associate professors. Among them, 17 members are PhDs and 2of them hold post-doctoral degree. 2 members o the teaching team are working for their doctorate. The department owns 1 “Outstanding Teacher of Beijing”, 1 “Excellent Teacher of Beijing”, 1 “Model Teachers of Beijing”, 4 “Excellent Young-scholars” as well as 1 “Top Pioneering Talented Teachers” of Beijing Municipal, 8 faculty members are Certified Public Accountants (CPA) of China.

In recent years, the department has been awarded several research grants funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education of China, the Ministry of Education of Beijing. The department also value practical research and undertake a great amount research projects cooperated with government and corporates. It has won over 10 teaching awards including “Excellent Teaching Team Awards of Beijing” and “Excellent Textbook Awards”, 3 academic awards, and 6 Excellent Team Awards so far.
