Master program of International Trade in North China University of Technology was approved in 2011, and began recruit students in 2012.

Main Courses

Compulsory course: senior economics, econometrics, international economics, senior international trade, international trade Practice Study etc. Selective course: international investment and transnational corporations, international trade of technology and services, Resource and Environmental Economics, applied statistics, Economic Mathematical Models, Securities and Futures, the frontier issues’ lecture of Applied Economics etc.

Research Direction

（1）The theory and policy of international trade. Researches are developed by Empirical research methods, taking commodities as the core and implement research in trade upgrading, trade growth mode changes, commodities trading in area of Beijing and national wide..

（2）International trade practices. Researches are developed by empirical and case study approach, closely tracking the latest international trade rules and practices of commodity trade, regional commodity trade, commodity trading negotiations and so on.

（3）International investment and transnational corporations. Researches are developed by a combination of normative and empirical research methods and the commodity-related cross-border direct investment and the behavior of transnational corporations.
